Answer
My department has engaged with Health & Social Care Trusts and established an interim contingency arrangement. This will ensure continuity of care for the neuromuscular patient group whilst a long -term solution is being sought. This includes maintaining the supply of Risdiplam for those patients currently accessing this treatment, ensuring those patients can continue to access this specialist medication.
The Health and Social Care Trusts, along with SPPG, will continue to work together to ensure care for those who need it.
