To ask the Minister of Health, pursuant to AQW 11434/22-27, how his Department is communicating with patients with neuromuscular conditions in relation to developments in the provision of Risdiplam in the absence of a long-term solution.

The Health and Social Care Trusts, along with SPPG, will continue to work on finalising the development of a long-term solution in respect of adult neuromuscular services, taking account of operational considerations. This will include information on the provision of Risdiplam for patients. Risdiplam is provided through Belfast Trust at present. This is owing to previous arrangement regarding service delivery with an agreed position whereby Risdiplam prescriptions are covered until 31 March 2025 in the context of service handover.
